How to use Problem Step Recorder for troubleshooting

For easy visual diagnosis and study of troubleshooting in the system, Windows 7 has its own tool "Problem Step Recorder". In fact, this program is an advanced utility for taking screen-shots and commenting. On how to use it is explained in this short article.
To run the program in the search bar of the "Start" menu, input: psr. The main window of the utility has only three main buttons, the purpose of which is not difficult to understand: "Start Record", "Stop Record" and "Add Comment".
By clicking on the question mark icon you open an additional menu from which you can open the window of program's settings. The user can choose a location to save reports, to enable or disable screen capture, as well as to specify their number.
After you start recording, software captures all user actions with the help of mouse and keyboard (except input text), and also makes screen-shots. At any moment you can pause and add a comment with the option of selecting desired area on the screen. Immediately after you stop recording, utility saves the report to a file with an extension .mht (web archive which can be opened by any browser) automatically zipping the file.
This file will make it easier for experienced user or administrator to determine at what point an error occurs and to find out exactly which program is responsible.
